Board-Certified Neurologist, Rhode Island Hospital Fellowship Trained
Dr. Preeti Gupta is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in Epilepsy, and Women’s health issues as it relates to epilepsy.
Dr. Gupta earned her Doctorate from Wayne State Medical School in 2006. She completed her internship at the University of Michigan Hospitals, in Ann Arbor, Michigan and then completed her residency in Neurology at the University of Michigan Hospital, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
She was Assistant Professor in Neurology at The Warren Alpert Medical School for 7 years. She was Co-Director of the Clinical Neurosciences Clerkship at The Warren Alpert Medical School. She continues to be passionate about medical education and is currently Assistant Professor in Medical Education at The Warren Alpert Medical School and is involved in teaching 1st and 2nd-year medical students.
Dr.Gupta’s dedication to her patients and her expertise in the treatment of epilepsy, allow her patients to receive optimal, compassionate medical care in a patient-friendly community. Her clinical interests include women with epilepsy, focal epilepsy, and primary generalized epilepsy.
